Patricia is a memoir, biography, nonfiction and flash prose writer living in the Far North of New Zealand with her partner, daughter, dogs, pigs and chicken.
Her qualifications and work experience include: architectural, interior, graphic, logo, web and fine jewellery design. She has been a restaurateur, bellydance event organiser, aromatherapist, shiatsu practitioner, counsellor, holistic therapist, architectural press assistant, library assistant, property investor and hotel manager.
Patricia has studied at UCL (University College London, University of London), Tisserand Institute, City Literary Institute, Mary Ward Centre, Working Men’s College, Open University U.K., UCLA Extension, Oxford University Continuing Education and Wisconsin Continuing Studies. She speaks Burmese and Cantonese; reads and writes French, Italian and Spanish.
She has served as a trustee of Culpepper Garden and the Andrew Clark Trust.
Patricia has travelled extensively, having lived in Burma, Hong Kong, London and the Canary Islands. She qualified in scuba diving with SSI (Scuba Schools International).
She is a member of ACES (American Copy Editors Society), BIO (Biographers International Organisation), NAMW (National Association of Memoir Writers) and NZSA (New Zealand Society of Authors) which is affiliated with PEN International.
